Reed Accountancy & Finance are looking for a skilled Assistant Accountant to join our client's team on the outskirts of Tonbridge for a nine-month period. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to our financial operations during this busy time.
**Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of management accounts, including forecasting, cash flow, and budgeting.
- Prepare final accounts and statements of accounts for review.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Assist managers with budget management and oversight.
- Contribute to the creation of reports and financial analysis to inform decision-making.
- Provide financial information and support across various business functions.
- Assist with balance sheet maintenance and reconciliation.
**Assistant Accountant The Ideal Candidate:
- Available for an immediate start.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions, with a strong grasp of financial systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to financial tasks and the ability to work independently.
