Maths Teacher Required
Location: Hillingdon
Type: Full-Time (Temporary with Permanent option)
Working Hours; 08:30 am - 16:30 pm.
Join a dedicated team at a school based in Hillingdon. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher who is committed to promoting student development and providing exceptional support for students. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their highest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students at [specify grade levels, e.g., Key Stage 3, 4, and 5].
- Develop and implement a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of the maths curriculum.
- Stay current with developments in mathematics education and integrate innovative teaching practices.
- Support and participate in extracurricular activities, such as maths clubs or competitions.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Uphold the school's policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required); Master's degree (preferred).
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at [specify grade levels, e.g., secondary school level].
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
