Hours: Full time

Working pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week office in Oxford close to train station)

Location: Oxford/home

Contract type: Temporary on-going, could lead to perm

Salary: £25.00-£29.89 per hour plus holiday

This educational establishment are seeking an experienced and professional HRBP to strategically and proactively support senior leaders and managers to develop a workforce plan.

As a role model for the values of this institution, you will play a pivotal role in partnering the resourcing and talent management team to provide a quality employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include.

  • Being the lead point of contact for people issues within a defined client area and work with departments to understand their business objectives and to facilitate professional and strategic HR support to enable the achievement of the objectives
  • Create, develop and review a Workforce Plan and understand workforce data insight and benchmark information to contribute to future people strategies.
  • Deliver high-level, non-routine operational advice and assistance to departments across the full range of HR issues, including discipline, grievance, organisational change,
  • To lead a portfolio of employee relations cases including the management of complex cases
  • Contribute to regular development and briefing sessions for managers and lead projects both from within HR and the wider business.
  • Coaching, developing and mentoring more junior members of the team to support and develop their HR careers.

The skills you will bring to the role of HRBP will include:

  • Experience of advising line managers on the full range of staffing issues in a complex organisation (ideally within a unionised environment).
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and good practice
  • Experience of providing HR support for organisational change
