PERMANENT -DAYSHIFT (approx. 50hrs)

An experienced yardsman/ groundskeeper is urgently required for day shift work, in the ops department of an SME plant site. The Yardsman / Groundskeeper is responsible for the general site cleanliness, movement of items and products by forklift truck. Tank and bund cleaning
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning of bunds
- Cleaning inside of tanks readying for inspections
- Packing and storing finished products
- Goods in and out, including using forklift trucks.
- General site cleanliness, maintenance
- Manual work including cleaning and digging in process areas
- Ensure that any problems are reported to the relevant manager/department immediately
- Ensure that personal protective clothing is worn at all times.
Other:
- Carry out any reasonable duties as identified by the Site Supervisor or Site Manager
- Ensure compliance with all contractual employment obligations.
- Ensure compliance with our ISO standards.
- Fully participate in the company's performance management and development programmes.
- Maximise own ability to produce quality work, on time, and to brief, utilising best skills and available technology.
- Work in accordance with the Company's Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Experience on a plant site / construction sure / industrial site /hospital site/ utilities site
- Must have a fork lift truck licence + experience of moving things
- Some cleaning responsibilities
