The Role
- Mentoring and developing the sales team to achieve sales targets, creating actionable plans to address any shortfalls
- Conduct regular meetings with sales managers to review performance and share best practices.
- Provide proactive and effective service to all levels of internal and external customers, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage interactions between the company and its customers, addressing issues with pricing, service, and delivery.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase customer retention and repeat business.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement, adjusting sales strategies in response to market changes.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in a sales manager role
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Ability to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Strong organisational skills and accurate record keeping
