Role Overview
Axon Moore are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with a market leader in their industry and they continue their exciting transformation project to become a best in class finance function.
The Senior Financial Accountant role is integral to the function, acting as the no2 to the largest division in the finance team. Reporting the Head of Financial Controls, this role will manage a small team, be the main point of contact for the year end audit, and gain excellent exposure across a wide variety of initiatives as the business continues to grow.
Reporting to an ACA Qualified Accountant, I am eager to speak with those who started their career in practice, before moving into an industry based role - providing experience across both technical and commercial finance. Given the role will also play a key part on the management of the function, I am eager to talk to anyone who has gained valuable management experience over the last couple of years.

Location:
Manchester (hybrid, 1-2 days in the office)
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of accurate and timely financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Take charge of the annual audit process, ensuring a seamless process.
- Provide strategic financial insight to support business decisions.
- Oversee internal finance operations including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Establish and maintain robust finance systems and controls.
- Lead effort to improve capital management and cashflow.
- Management Accounts and all MI reporting for board.
Person Specification:
- ACCA/ ACA Qualified.
- Experience running the audit process.
- Experience managing a team.
- Advanced excel skillset.
- Excellent communication skills, acting as a partner for various stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
