Service Engineer
£26,500 - £32,500 (dependent on experience) per annum

Overview of the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Breakdown and Service Engineer to attend properties and service/maintain sewage treatment plants and pumping stations in East Anglia.
They have bespoke service agreements for over 8,000 wastewater systems across East Anglia and provide their clients with constant support. Their office is based in Ipswich, where the Engineer will report to and complete training. Upon the completion of training, the role will largely be based from home with work instructions, summaries and reports being sent electronically. The candidate must therefore be competent in using a computer.

Their Ideal Candidate will have the following technical capabilities:
- Eligible to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence
- Prior technical knowledge on sewage treatment plants
- Confined Space Entry Qualification
- Abrasive Wheel Qualification
- Current CSCS Qualification
- Some form of electrical training
- Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification
- Clean Driving Licence
As well as being a good communicator, be able to build relationships with people and have a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
- Attend customer sites to service/maintain wastewater systems
- Carry out risk assessments and follow method statements
- To carry out routine preventative maintenance (Electrical and Mechanical) on wastewater systems at customer sites
- Identify faults, carry out repairs, and produce work summaries
- To carry out refurbishments of wastewater systems
