Resident Engagement Coordinator

Posted by Hunterwell Recruitment Ltd.

Due to the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities new legislation, our client is required to communicate and engage on the progress of the Cladding Remediation Programme with impacted Residents on a regular basis, prior to, and during the assessment and construction phase.

They have an 18 month Fixed Term Contract for a Resident Engagement Coordinator who'll be responsible for a portfolio of buildings at different stages of the remediation process. You'll manage the communications with Residents through an online portal which will involve uploading project information and responding to Resident enquiries. You'll support the engagement team and be one of the key contacts for Leaseholders and Residents throughout the process, preparing and writing content for newsletters, online posts and posters related to progress updates on projects for local communities. You'll also arrange and attend local community meetings with impacted Residents and Local Resident Groups where appropriate.

Suitable candidate will have experience in Resident Liaison, Community Engagement and or Building Management, with a track record of successfully managing building occupiers during large scale refurbishment or remediation projects, excellent interpersonal skills to support work with multiple stakeholders across a range of circumstances. You'll be able to de-escalate complex and contentious situations, be resilient under pressure and deal sensitively and appropriately with all stakeholders, showing awareness to the needs of vulnerable and disadvantaged Residents.

Previous experience working on remediation programmes and familiarity with the Building Safety Act and or the Building Safety Regulator policies would be a plus, although not essential. What is essential is the ability to deliver first class customer service, being highly organised with a good eye for detail and having excellent IT skills.

You'd be joining a friendly and supportive team who put the Residents and Leaseholders at the heart of everything they do, making every effort to minimise disruption to their day yo day lives whilst the work is being carried out.

If you're interested in this 18-month Fixed Term Contract, apply today as the first interviews are being held week commencing Monday 19th August.
