Mixed Tax Manager

Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established accounting firm based in the picturesque county town of Hertford that are now eager to appoint an accomplished Mixed Tax Manager to lead with the firm's tax offering.
Role Requirements -
- Preparing and reviewing self-assessment personal tax returns for up to 500 company directors, individuals and sole traders and submission to the HMRC
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns for up to 300 Limited Companies spanning a diverse range of industries, and onwards submission to the HMRC.
- Whilst the role will have a compliance focus the manager will be expected to engage with clients directly offering appropriate tax advice and planning where applicable.
- In addition to the above, the role will assist with P11D processing and potentially payroll processing on occasions.
Person Requirements -
- Ideally ATT or CTA qualified or part qualified (study support will be offered if required) or those qualified by experience will also be given consideration.
- At least 4+ years' experience in a mixed tax role at either a senior or manager level working for a UK based practice.
- Proven experience of supervising tax staff and reviewing their work.
