The Role
I am looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead a high-performing team of 100 engineers. In this role, you will drive the development of our next-generation SaaS products and tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of enterprise clients. This is a key leadership position where you'll directly impact the strategic direction of the engineering efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of 100 engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge SaaS products that enhance enterprise experiences.
- Strategic Vision: Collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Technical Excellence: Ensure the highest standards in software development practices, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Talent Development: Drive recruitment, retention, and professional development initiatives to build and sustain a world-class engineering team.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, continually seeking new ways to improve our product offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in software engineering with a minimum of 5+ years in a leadership role, ideally within the SaaS industry.
- Team Leadership: Proven track record of managing large engineering teams (50+), with experience in scaling and optimizing team performance.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of cloud architecture, modern software development practices, and enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technical initiatives with broader business objectives and drive impactful results.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
