Advocate Group are excited to be partnering with one of the UK's leading and best-known food and drink manufacturers based near Cardiff Docks to support them with the appointment of a talented Hygiene Manager.
This is an exciting, newly created position that will offer a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make the role your own and take full ownership of the hygiene function on site.
The position would suit someone with significant experience leading on hygiene ideally within a manufacturing/FMCG setting who is looking for a position where they are given the level of autonomy to be able to make a real difference.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Review current hygiene practices and make changes where necessary
- Collaborate with site technical teams to monitor, improve, trend and continuously challenge hygiene standards throughout
- Continuously improve hygiene processes for the whole site
- Drive improvements across all teams to ensure hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
- Continually review the CIP systems to optimise the set performance with consideration of site KPI conditions, new chemicals available, environmental and H&S factors to achieve the desired outcomes
- Conduct regular trend data assessments to support all site Hygiene meetings
- Instigation and management of Hygiene related improvement projects
What we are looking for:
- Ideally working in a Hygiene role within FMCG/manufacturing
- Knowledge of CIP (clean-in-place)
- Ability to manage a small team
