Sales and Administration

Main Duties:

Chasing Overdue Invoices

  • Monitor and manage the overdue invoice list.
  • Follow up with customers on overdue invoices and payments.
  • Ensure invoices are sent on time.
  • Process payments accurately.
  • Handle and follow up on unpaid invoices.
  • Follow detailed procedures accurately for customers who have defaulted on payments.
  • Send letters and notifications to customers with overdue balances.

Sales Record Keeping

  • Ensure sales figures are accurately recorded.
  • Initiate contact with potential customers via phone calls to promote the business.
  • Maintain a high volume of outbound calls to generate new leads.
  • Utilize social media platforms to market and promote the business.
  • Create engaging content to attract and interact with potential customers.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to improve engagement and outreach.
  • Ensure all self-storage units are occupied by actively seeking potential customers.

Performance Targets

  • Set and meet performance targets related to lead generation, customer acquisition, and unit occupancy.
  • Regularly review and analyze performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Customer Assistance

  • Assist customers with their storage needs.
  • Answer incoming customer inquiries in person, via email, or telephone.
  • Process customer payments efficiently.
  • Follow up potential sales leads.
  • Daily Visual Inspections
  • Conduct daily visual inspections of customer units.
  • Ensure units remain locked until outstanding balances are settled.
  • Manage security systems including fob entry barriers and CCTV.

Delivery Management

  • Keep delivery records up to date.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing deliveries are properly documented and recorded.

Requirements:

  • Marketing

Communication Skills

  • High standard of both verbal and written English.
  • Excellent communicator, able to convey information clearly and effectively.

Organizational Skills

  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong time-management skills to handle daily responsibilities effectively.
  • UK driving license

Computer Literacy

  • Strong IT and analytical skills

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Forklift operation experience (training will be provided ).
  • Familiarity with storage facility operations and procedures.
  • Preferably CRB checked.
