Front End Engineer (Material UI, Figma, Design)

£380 a day

Are you a talented and experienced Front End Engineer looking for an exciting contract opportunity?
In this role, your design skills will play a huge part in the ongoing success of a rapidly growing retail business who are making waves globally.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces
- Develop and maintain UI components using Material UI
- Create and maintain a Figma style dictionary for consistent design implementation
- Utilize Storybook to develop and showcase UI components
- Ensure proper documentation of UI components for easy reference and future maintenance
- Optimize front-end performance and ensure responsive design across various devices and browsers
Skills required:
o Strong experience in front-end design and development using Material UI.
o Proficiency in Storybook for building responsive and visually appealing user interfaces
o Familiarity with style dictionary for consistent design implementation
o Excellent documentation skills for UI component libraries
o Strong experience using Figma.
o Retail / eCommerce experience is ideal!
