Company:Our client is an established worldwide organisation. They specialise in the manufacturing of magnetic components, including high performance RF chip inductors, power magnetics and filters. They are currently working with us to find an experienced IT professional with an appetite for a wide range of technical work on a variety of projects.

Role:
In this position you will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities -
- Drive IT initiatives that promote growth and ongoing enhancement.
- Oversee and refine the organization's network setup, ensuring robust and efficient operation of LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless systems.
- Implement and sustain server and storage infrastructure, operating systems, virtual environments, and cloud solutions.
- Partner with international IT teams to forge network and system strategies that support business goals and adhere to tech standards.
- Offer assistance for network and system enquiries, aiding end-users and IT colleagues.
- Streamline network and system operations through scripting and configuration tools
- Set up necessary hardware for systems and user stations.
Desired Technical Skill set:
The ideal candidate would have experience using and be familiar with the following -
- Microsoft cloud computing, Intune, Entra
- M365, O365, Windows servers
- Operating systems: Windows and VMWare
- Network protocols, Routing, Switches, Network security
- Virtualisation platform management
(e.g., VMware).
- Scripting for automation
(e.g., PowerShell).
- Server hardware, architecture, and SANs.
- Patch management.
