Your new school is a girls' Grammar School located in Gloucester. The school caters to pupils 11-18. The school has been graded as Good in all areas by OFSTED and has a brilliant reputation in the local community. Your new role
Join a brilliant department, on a part-time, long-term temporary basis, where you will be responsible for teaching Fine Art to KS3, 4 & 5. This role will commence in September and run for a minimum of one term, with the possibility of extension. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating in pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work, ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification such as QTS, QTLS or PGCE and have experience of teaching Art up to KS5. You should have a passion for introducing students to the world of art and for honing their creativity and skill. You must be able to commence the role from September 2024 and be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment.
