Pertemps Daventry are currently recruiting for a Experienced Credit Controller to join a team based in a Village, near Towcester.
Main duties include
- Bank statement – Preparation, logging, allocating & dealing with queries
- New accounts – Recording, requesting credit reports & sending acceptance letters
- National accounts – Allocation, POD requests and dealing with queries
- Supporting with card payment requests from customers and depots (daily)
- Liaising / Communicating with Depots & Credit Control in relation to taking accounts ‘off stop' / requesting further payment – in line with the department restrictions.
- Referring accounts of concern to Group Credit Manager
- Updating changes to the AS400 system to ensure customer accounts are correct when required
- Support the department preparing Depot review lists to send to the credit agency and checking online credit limits (monthly).
- Managing and ordering depot & customer paying in books
- Preparing and banking any cheques received at head office
- Sending copy invoices via email/post
- Setting up customer accounts for emailed invoices with IT department
- Sending storage/insurance letters to depots
- To be included on the ‘ring-a-round' to answer overflow calls
- Other general administration and reasonable duties that may occur from time to time, including supporting the department during busy and holiday periods
- Previous experience will be beneficial.
This job is office based, there is no hybrid/home based option available.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
A driving licence is essential as we are based out in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside.
