Dot has partnered with a £100M turnover construction group experiencing an exciting period of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this Finance Manager role offers a supportive environment where you'll work closely with the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cashflow forecasting
- Weekly wage analysis
- Standard recharges
- Intercompany reconciliation
- P11D preparations
- VAT returns & compliance
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations for financial accuracy and transparency
- Manage accruals & prepayments
- Oversee CIS processes, ensuring correct deductions, reporting, and compliance
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure accurate stock adjustments and valuations
- Contribute to financial analysis and forecasting for strategic decision-making
- Lead finance improvement projects, tracking and reporting progress
Key Requirements:
- Fully or near-qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), or QBE with extensive experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Prior CIS experience
- Construction industry experience is preferred, though not essential; first-time movers from practice are encouraged to apply
- Ambitious, with a desire to take on a leadership role in a dynamic, growth-focused company
- Strong financial acumen, with attention to accuracy and continuous improvement
The Package:
- £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
- 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- Annual bonus
- Pension (6%)
