Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a School Caretaker for a full time role at a school in Ellesmere Port!
We are partnered with a very successful secondary school who are seeking a school caretaker to start as soon as possible. Due to an unexpected absence within the school maintenance team, we are seeking an experienced and pro-active school caretaker to join the team.
The role is a full time position with normal working hours of 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday, however this can be made a little more flexible. The role is working 50 weeks of the year at 32.5 hours week. The hourly pay for this role starts at £14+ an hour depending on experience.
The expectations in the role are to work closely within a team to ensure the school is being maintained.
Roles include things such as -
- Managing the school site to ensure all safety procedures are being followed.
- Ensuring the schools log of work being completed is up to date and compliant.
- Liaising with other staff members and working well with in a team.
- Plan and carry out any daily maintenance tasks.
- Carry out school security checks on a daily basis and to maintain the records.
To be considered for this role, we will need -
- Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
- A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
- A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
