Responsibilities of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, catering to individual learning needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
  • Support classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and pastoral care of students.

Requirements of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a secondary school settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Enthusiastic about supporting the educational and emotional development of children.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
