Hays are delighted to be working with a locally established, nationally recognised organisation that have their offices based in Fife to support in the continued growth of their existing finance team. This role has been newly created at an Assistant Accountant level for a motivated, part qualified finance professional looking to take their next step within their finance career.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be working closely with the Management Accountant to support in daily finance processes including reviewing and producing financial reports, providing commentary on the accounts analysis and when required, being part of the preparation of management accounts. You will be expected to demonstrate a core understanding of transactional finance processes with a willingness to provide additional support to the wider finance team on these matters when required.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will be someone who is actively looking to progress their finance career within management accounting with a confident ability to manage internal and external stakeholder queries as well as demonstrating a core background within a varied finance role. You will be someone who demonstrates an analytical mindset, willingness to support others within a finance function and can work under pressure in a dynamic work environment.

In return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of up to £32,000 plus considerable company benefits that can be discussed at application stage. This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis with hybrid working options (full time in office during probationary period with a move to three days in office thereafter).
