Duties
- providing secretarial support to lawyers
- answering telephone calls, transferring calls, and taking messages
- keeping accurate records of meetings and appointments
- organising travel arrangements for lawyers
- arranging meetings and managing lawyers' diaries
- attending court and meeting clients
- closing, archiving, and storing files
- assisting in the preparation of court documents
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
- Proficient in using legal software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanour with a high level of integrity and ethics
