The Role

As a QTS Teacher of Textiles (DT), you will:

Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in Textiles and Design Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity and practical skills.

Use a variety of teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and styles.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Textiles and DT curriculum.

Organize and participate in projects, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities related to textiles and design.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

A degree in Textiles, Design Technology, or a related subject.

Proven experience in teaching Textiles and DT at the secondary school level.
