Utilities Contract Manager

Could you be Incommunities new Utilities Contract Manager? We have an exciting opportunity to join us on a 2 year fixed term contract, responsible for managing the utilities contracts demonstrating good value for money for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the external contracts for electricity, gas and water utilities
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team to shape and deliver our energy strategy, incorporating legal compliance such as carbon reporting & heat networks
  • To be a key stakeholder when it comes to service charge budget setting and actualisation processes for utilities contracts
  • Approve utility costs in line with financial regulations
  • Ensure good meter management, specifically when meters are added or removed to a property
  • Maintain good quality data for utilities contract and be able to report this to internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement and maintain cross team processes when it comes to utilities contracts
  • Manage external providers KPIs to ensure value for money for our customers
  • Support procurement of utility suppliers, endorsed by the Procurement Team to be compliant with PCR2015 (Public Contracts Regulations)
  • Undertake Section 20 process for Qualifying Long Term Agreements (QLTA)
  • Line manage a small team

Requirements

  • Ability to work flexibly, without guidance but also be committed to work in a positive manner with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent contract management skills
  • Strong ability to manage time
  • Be able to manage a diverse and complex multitude of tasks
  • Experience of performance reporting in relation to contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management
  • To demonstrate and champion excellent customer care
  • Transport to attend sites across the Bradford district
