Description

Responsible for developing and executing effective Category strategies to facilitate profitable sales in all three Healthcare categories.

Implement a comprehensive category growth agenda in strategic channels and customers by incorporating consumer and shopper insights to deliver best in class retail solutions.

Effectively translate data into actions for the sales team to support customer presentations, listing opportunities and the successful introduction of NPD.

Be a key member of the UK commercial operation and the wider team by exuding Value principles daily. Leadership, agility, an ability to create data driven recommendations, a passion for transformational growth and entrepreneurial drive will be keys to success.

Provide Category Leadership

  • Develop category and shopper insights, including the consumer journey, to develop authoritative channel / customer strategies for specific categories and the wider categories they sit within.
  • Be a strategic partner to account managers by using insights to create fact-based selling stories. Generate insights to help identify and prioritise category growth initiatives for all retailers, both in-store and online

Customer Planning and Implementation

Data Analysis, Reporting and Monitoring

Profile

CPG / FMCG background in Category Management and / or Trade Marketing;

  • Strong working knowledge of consumer / shopper data tools e.g. IRI, Nielsen, Kantar alongside customer EPOS
  • Experience in delivering fact-based selling stories to influence decision-making
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial skills proactive in identifying business opportunities
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Positive outlook, leadership capabilities
