We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of Science to join a thriving school, starting ASAP on a full-time basis until Christmas. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting them in their academic development and love for science.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that students are motivated and challenged.
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and resources within the science department.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant science subject.
- Experience teaching science at KS3 and KS4 level.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK without any restrictions (No Sponsorship).
