Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. With over a decade of expertise, our client provides technical and regulatory support to pharmaceutical manufacturers across the UK and Europe. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported
  • Prepare monthly management accounts in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
  • Monitor cash balances and prepare payment runs efficiently
  • Collaborate with different departments to allocate transactions and issue recharge invoices
  • Credit control of outstanding invoices to maintain financial stability
  • Maintain and manage time tracking software, producing monthly reports for analysis
  • Liaise with internal employees to ensure accurate and timely completion of time tracking
  • Assist in delivering ad hoc reports and projects as required
  • Engage with third-party service providers and customers on cost allocations and recharges
  • Analyse and track internal and external project costs

Qualifications:

  • Qualified CAT/AAT or equivalent, or qualified by experience
  • Several years' experience in medium-sized businesses or providing services to such organisations

Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting systems, preferably Sage
  • Strong honesty, integrity, and reliability
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and good initiative
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident and professional when liaising with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
