Job Title: Area Sales Manager - South West & Wales

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 plus commission and company car

Location: South West Region - work from home

Hours: Full Time

Description:

Working for a company where people are their most valuable asset, the successful Area Sales Manager will be required to promote the Company, products and services, to the marketplace on a day to day basis. Calling on Architects, Designers, Contractors and similar business types to achieve strong and long-term working relationships, resulting in profitable business opportunities and repeat sales.

The Area Sales Manager role requires experience of the specification marketplace, and the ability to meet and exceed targets.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass sales targets, KPIs, and objectives while delivering the required profit margins
  • Promote the company, its products, and services, both directly and through social media channels
  • Oversee Sales Support and relevant departments in managing inquiries
  • Serve as a liaison between the marketplace and the company
  • Proactively manage and service your customer base, including new, prospective, and existing clients
  • Present relevant materials for specific projects or promotional activities
  • Efficiently manage your electronic diary, ensuring all activities are recorded in the system
  • Prepare detailed reports, including Pipeline and Forecast
  • Negotiate contracts and secure profitable sales
  • Identify customer requirements and respond to their specific needs
  • Communicate customer information to the appropriate department
  • Attend sales meetings, networking events, and promotional activities at various locations
  • Assist in resolving issues as they arise

Experience required:

  • A proven track record in a similar sales based role
  • Experience of the specification marketplace
  • Educated to secondary education standard C Grade or above
  • A highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and people skills

You will earn a starting salary of £55,000 - £60,000 plus commission scheme, PMI and pension scheme, 22 days holiday, company car, phone and laptop.
