Job Title: Year 3 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Position: Full-Time, Temporary (12 Months) with Possibility of Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London) based on experience

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a maternity cover position at a GOOD rated Ofsted primary school in Camden, London. This full-time role begins in September 2024 and spans 12 months, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Role Overview: As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students, ensuring they make excellent progress in their learning and development. You will create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a love of learning and supporting each student's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school activities and events.
  • Effectively manage classroom behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching at the primary level, preferably in Year 3.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
