Our client have grown considerably over recent years and are now seeking a talented individual to spearhead their sales team. They are on the lookout for an exceptional leader to manage and mentor their 20-strong sales team. With a global client base, you will play a pivotal role in pursuing new opportunities, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing relationships.
About the Role:
As Head of Sales, you will be a key member of the executive management team, responsible for driving sales growth, team development, and strategic planning. You will:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Manage performance reviews, 1-1's and employee engagement
- Responsible for the recruitment of new team members
- Collate and analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and conferences - This will include UK and overseas, around 2-3 times a year
- Develop business opportunities
About You:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership/management role.
- Previous engineering/technical background essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Innovative and forward thinking
