AV Brand Manager - In-house Brands

AV.com joined the Gear4music family in early 2022. Specialising in high-fidelity home audio and cinema systems, AV.com is now expanding its Own Brand team. We are seeking

a Brand Manager to lead our new AV In-house brands

, overseeing product, range, and brand development to drive strong sales growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and lead the future of these new brands, with support from our wider Own Brand teams, including product, marketing, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Ownership: Take complete responsibility for the AV own brands, overseeing their development, expansion, and market success.
  • Product Development: Lead the creation and expansion of AV In-house product range by collaborating closely with factories and suppliers.
  • Pricing Strategy: Set competitive retail pricing across all markets and territories, ensuring the brand's growth and profitability.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate costs and deals with factories and suppliers to optimise product margins.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Own Brand product, marketing, and operations teams to drive successful product launches, marketing campaigns, and merchandising strategies.
  • Market Research: Conduct competitor and market analysis to understand customer needs and adapt product and pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly analyse and report on brand performance, using data to drive decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in product or brand management, category management, or a similar commercially driven role.
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on driving brand growth and optimising margins.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience dealing with suppliers and factories.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in retail pricing, market research, and product development.
  • Knowledge of the Audio Visual industry is a plus.
