Job Purpose
- Provide trusted advisory to a significant and diverse client portfolio
- Manage all commercial aspects of your portfolio, ensuring all fees are issues in a timely manner
- Assist the Tax Director to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met
- Preparation of Company Tax Returns
- Preparation of Capital Allowances reports and analysis
- Preparation and submission of non-resident Capital Gains reports
- Preparation of audit trails to assist with peer and managerial reviews
- Analyse and interpret data and prepare tax advice based on findings
- Assist with the preparation of R&D claims
- Attend prospect meetings and working with other departments as required
- Lead liaison with HMRC on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries
- Oversee junior staff, including monitoring workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities
- Proactively investigate and identify opportunities for the firm and clients
- Lead by example to promote and preserve a positive team culture

Job Requirements
- CTA qualified or ATT qualified with the desire to study toward CTA
- A minimum of five years' experience in a corporate tax role within UK practice
- Track record of portfolio management experience, including all commercial aspects
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Strong understanding of current tax and general accounting UK regulations
- Great attention to detail and the ability to manage own workload autonomously
- Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
- Sound IT skills to efficiently carry out work
