Purpose
Sterling Williams are working alongside a fantastic investment Management firm, who are seeking a CGT administrator to join their team, The role holder will be responsible for providing general administrative support to the Operational Tax team, maintaining and updating accurate CGT and tax related client records and data in accordance with internal service level agreements, procedures and controls
Responsibilities of the role:
- Input, verification and upload of tax related data into relevant systems
- Analysis and validation of CGT data in CGT Engine
- Keep abreast of changes to CGT rules and regulation
- Provision of tax related reports as requested by the business
- Investigation and resolution of CGT and general Tax related queries from the business
- Assist in Tax/Calendar year planning process to ensure delivery of accurate client tax reporting
- Assist with management and oversight of third party service providers
- Build relationships within all areas of the business to establish accurate and timely delivery of operational tax service
- Review procedures and controls regularly and enhance and update as applicable
- Complete UAT processes accurately within allocated timeframe
- Maintain and complete Management Information
- Undertake operational administration duties and tasks as reasonably required by Team Leader/Head of Operations

- Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of CGT rules and book cost calculation / apportionment
- Basic knowledge of tax wrapper structures including ISA, SIPP, Offshore Bond
- Experience of data management and controls
- Experience within a wealth management or asset management environment is desirable
- Experience of using Pershing Nexus, CGiX and IMiX is advantageous
Qualifications
'A' Level education preferred
2 years + CGT / financial services experience
Investment Operations Certificate advantageous
