Page Personnel are partnering with a fantastic financial services business based in Whiteley who are looking for Payments Administrators to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Our client is a very successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Whiteley and require travel to their offices but offer a hybrid model of working.
Description
As the Payments Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Process payment instructions received from the client teams.
- Ensure reconciliation items within the payments process are investigated and cleared in a timely manner.
- Gain levels of understanding towards banking and payment processes, formatting, and systems.
- Create new beneficiary templates for regular suppliers and Investors.
- Responsible for entering payments and manage the upload of payment spreadsheets onto the relevant banking platform.
- Prepare bookkeeping for associated payment instructions.
- Work collaboratively with payments, operations, and any other teams towards implementing selected payment platform.
- Review current payments process and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist with the on boarding of new team members, including training.
- Assist with departmental reporting
Profile
To be successful for the Payments Administrator position, you must:
- Accounts Payable experience required.
- The candidate must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work within a team, and also the ability to use initiative and work independently.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills are essential.
- Training on internal systems, controls, and procedures will be given, however, it is essential that the job holder has proven computer literacy skills.
