Technical Support Engineer

RedTech has partnered with an exciting startup that recently raised a large round of funding to grow its presence within the EV space. They are seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Egham, Surrey, with the responsibility of supporting their internal IT infrastructure. This role offers exciting rapid career progression, joining at this early stage and the opportunity to get hands-on with many different areas of the business dramatically increasing your skill set in multiple areas.

Location: Egham, Surrey - Mainly onsite, with some hybrid available

Salary: £37,500 - £40,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Requirements for Technical Support Engineer:

  • Ideally, you will have at least 3 years working within an IT Support Engineering related role
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career within Support with the opportunity to be involved with many areas of the business
  • Any experience with Windows Applications will be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities for Technical Support Engineer

  • Provide a point of contact/escalation for employees for internal IT infrastructure issues
  • Look after network security technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems (Beneficial)
  • Problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve IT and network issues.
  • Work closely within a highly collaborative team
