Scientific Project Manager
Location: Newmarket
Salary: £35k - £40k
Hours: Mon - Fri 37.5 hours a week
Start Date: ASAP
Do you want to work for a forward thinking company that truly puts their employees first? Our client specializes in the production and supply of infection control and hygiene products, particularly for the healthcare sector and they are looking for a Scientific Project Manager. Their core expertise lies in the formulation and manufacture of disinfectants based on chlorine dioxide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Manage Design Projects in accordance with the approved procedures, to develop new products, concepts, portfolios, or delivery systems to deliver upon the corporate and brand strategy.
- Curate, assemble and maintain product Design Files, establishing consistent records for Design History.
- Make changes to product design specifications which add value to the product, the user experience, the safety and performance of the product and the Company's business.
- Establish records for Design Projects.
- Carry out market research, competitor research and global sales intel. Supporting sales with the introduction of product to the global market.
Skills & Experience:
- Communication (the ability to establish a connection with people at every level and both understand and be understood).
- Organisation (the ability to work on multiple projects at once and keep clear and accurate records, in good order).
- Humility (the ability to listen, admit mistakes, have empathy).
- Project Management experience in a scientific or technical or engineering industry.
Qualifications:
- Degree level education, or up to A-levels or equivalent as a minimum with proven experience with project management
- Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly within the science or biotechnology industry desired
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
