Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Security Engineer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client's site.

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and servicing of CCTV systems, access control systems, and intruder alarms. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the security and safety of our client's premises. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, access control systems, and intruder alarms based on client requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the most effective security solutions.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other team members to design and implement security systems that meet their specific needs.
- Ensure proper wiring, cabling, and integration of all security devices, including cameras, access control panels, and alarm systems.
- Test and troubleshoot security systems to identify and resolve any technical issues or malfunctions.
- Train clients or end-users on the proper usage and functionality of installed security systems.
- Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance services, including software updates, hardware replacements, and system upgrades.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in security technology and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and system configurations.

About You:

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK

- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role, specializing in CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of security system installations, including cameras, access control panels, alarm systems, and associated cabling.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting security system software and hardware.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to security systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Customer-centric mindset with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Physical ability to work at heights and in various environmental conditions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCTV installation, access control, alarm systems) are advantageous.
