Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the school library ?? (including Sixth Form) to promote reading for pleasure and support independent learning.
- Mentor students, enhancing their research and information-handling skills ??.
- Organize engaging literacy initiatives ?? and home-school projects to involve families.
- Ensure the library resources are well-maintained, including both printed and digital materials ???.
- Liaise with staff and external agencies to meet the learning needs of students.
- Oversee library policies, health & safety, and copyright compliance ??.
- Manage the library budget and resources efficiently ??.
- First Aid trained to assist in case of any emergencies �?.
Skills Required:
- Passionate about literacy and education �?.
- Strong communication and organizational skills ?.
- Competent with ICT and resource management ??.
- First Aid certification (training can be provided if needed).
