Job Title: Static Maintenance Engineer

Location: Reading, UK

Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Static Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a prominent retail store in Reading. As a Static Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the store's facilities. This is a fantastic chance to contribute to the efficient running of a high-profile retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure the store's facilities are in optimal condition.
  • Troubleshoot and address technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and disruptions.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify potential maintenance needs and address them proactively.
  • Collaborate with the wider facilities management team to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to the management team.

Working Hours:

  • Alternating weekends off (every other weekend)
  • Additional Mondays and Fridays off on the weekend you work

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of up to £42,000 per annum
  • Annual leave entitlement of 25 days

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Flexibility to work weekends on a rotational basis.
