12-month fixed term contract, with potential to convert to a permanent role

Near Liverpool Street & Fenchurch Street

Office-based 4 days per week, with 1 day WFH

£35-40k per annum + discretionary bonus

8am – 6 pm

My client, a financial services firm, are looking for a Team Assistant to provide support to a number of their Directors, Managers and Heads of, whilst also being on hand to offer back up support when needed to their Receptionist.

This is a brilliant, and rare, opportunity for a recent graduate, with 1 year+ corporate experience to step up into a role that will offer growth and development in time, whilst working for a company who truly appreciate their employees.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Diary and calendar management
  • Coordinating and scheduling of meetings and conference calls across multiple time zones
  • Coordinating room bookings for internal/external meetings and VCs across multiple locations
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for the team, including: visa applications, international flight and accommodation bookings and car bookings
  • Expense management and preparation
  • Taking on ad hoc tasks while maintaining workflow
  • Supporting teams in day to day issues, needs and queries
  • Providing phone / holiday coverage for colleagues
  • Covering reception when needed
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as ordering stationary,

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You must have experience of working as a Team Assistant within a corporate environment, ideally within Financial Services, for 1 year+
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be a team player and someone who sees no job as too big or small
  • Friendly and approachable with can do, muck in attitude
  • A confident user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to prioritize a variety of time-sensitive tasks
  • Demonstrate dependability and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task
  • Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels, internally and externally
  • Flexible and adaptable to work and support across multiple teams
  • Be resourceful and able to use own initiative in solving issues
