Vehicle Service Advisor

Our client, a private vehicle garage, is seeking for a Service Advisor to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle service needs, relaying those needs to the service department, and keeping the customer informed throughout the repair process. The work environment will be a private garage.
Role: Service Advisor
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: MON to Fri + 1 in 2 Saturdays 8am to 2pm
Location: London N12
Key responsibilities:
- Provide estimates for service and repair work.
- Explain service recommendations and costs clearly.
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers.
- Create repair orders based on customer concerns and vehicle diagnosis.
- Communicate customer needs and preferences to technicians.
- Review work performed with the customer upon vehicle pick-up.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Prior experience in automotive service or customer service preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
