Our client is a small not-for-profit organisation based on the Wirral, that takes great pride in the services they offer

Description

The HR Manager will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle of the organisation, from recruitment and retention through to managing all employee relations matters.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

  • Recruitment and overseeing the related processes
  • Overseeing all employee relations matters, including attendance and grievances, and supporting line managers to ensure swift resolution
  • Ensuring maintenance and compliance of all people-related administration e.g. contracts, new starter packs
  • Approval and submission of payroll and benefits to external parties
  • Driving a positive culture and working environment, and support employees development and well-being
  • Support on managing employee working pattern rotas and corresponding budgets
  • Maintenance of all policies and procedures including Health & Safety and Data
  • Management of an HR Administrator

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have demonstrable experience as a standalone HR Manager within an SME environment. Experience from within a not-for-profit or similar environment would be advantageous

You will have;

  • Experience at manager level of managing the full employee lifecycle
  • Ideally experience managing a junior team member
  • Payroll management and solid commercial acumen
  • Ability to communicate with a broad stakeholder base

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary from £40,000 to £45,000 DOE

The role is site-based on the Wirral with flexible working hours
