We are currently recruiting for a Handyman to join our passionate and driven team in North London.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPM's are completed within the contract defined time SLA's & KPI's so that the customer expectations are met.
- To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
- Ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria and surrounding area conforms to agreed company standards.
- To take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
- To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents/records are maintained accurately.
- The successful candidate must provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must therefore play its part in the overall delivery of service.
- Reporting to the Contract Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of the Blue Light Contracts within their allocated area and in accordance with the contractual SLA's, OCS's business policies and processes.
What we are looking for from you:
- Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
- Plumbing Trade or Fabric Trade Qualification would be beneficial although not essential
- Legionella Awareness
- Previous experience working within commercial maintenance required.
- Ability to work safely at all times and the ability to understand the contract and Health and safety requirements/regulations.
- Possess effective communication skills with the ability to write technical reports and or communicate verbally with supervisor, manager, helpdesk and client representatives.
- Ability to use electronic handheld devices.
- Ability to identify issues or risks that require escalation.
- Will need to go through CTC clearance.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure company/site safety procedures are followed at all times.
- COSHH Awareness.
- Callout requirement – 1 in 6 at present.
