Payroll and Pensions Administrator

Posted by Reed.

Are you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in payroll and pensions administration? We're partnering with a leading organisation seeking a dedicated Payroll and Pensions Administrator to manage payroll operations with precision and ensure compliance with pension regulations.

As the Payroll and Pensions Administrator, your primary focus will be on maintaining and updating payroll information, processing payroll inputs, managing changes such as new starters and leavers, and handling both payroll and pension queries.

Skills required:

  • Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and pension administration, with a strong understanding of LGPS and SHPS.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally - both in writing and verbally is key as you will often handle complex queries from colleagues or stakeholders, so a solutions-focused mindset is essential.
  • The role requires managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy. Being highly organised, deadline-driven, and capable of spotting discrepancies quickly will ensure smooth operations.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing for large organisations, ensuring accuracy, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely delivery across high-volume payroll cycles.

In return, you will:

  • Comprehensive employee benefits package, including flexible annual leave options, enhanced family and sick leave, a generous matched pension scheme, and life cover - designed to support your wellbeing and financial security.
  • Employees also benefit from a supportive team environment and are provided with the tools necessary to succeed in their roles.
  • Join an organisation that values and celebrates employee contributions through regular recognition initiatives and incentive schemes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business. If this sounds of interest, please apply now as interviews will be happening soon!
