About the Role

This established accountancy firm is looking to hire an experienced Payroll Administrator where you will play a crucial role in their payroll team, responsible for processing end-to-end payrolls and ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Manage entire payroll process from start to finish, including RTI filing, pension uploads, and generating reports for payments and third party entities.
  • Stay up to date with company policies and tax legislation
  • Prepare month-end journals and reports as needed posting for audit purposes, contributing to the overall financial health of the business
  • Deal with payroll queries
  • Responsible for the maintenance of employee data
  • Maintain records for robust document control.

Experience Required

  • Experience in Payroll - Ideally within and Accountancy Practice
  • Familiarity with Sage 50
  • Knowledge of HMRC legislation and pension auto enrolment
  • Can work effectively across multiple clients who run both weekly and monthly payroll.
