Job Title: Logistics and Customer Service Manager

Location: Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, with occasional travel to Essex and Turkey

Contract Details: Permanent, full-time position Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year

About Our Client:

Our client, an established importer and supplier of a variety of foods, they are looking for a motivated and experienced Logistics and Customer Service Manager to join their friendly and growing team. With the goal of improving service levels and driving business growth, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve customer service experience
  • Responding to customers daily, answering their questions and directing them to the appropriate services or department
  • Create effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards
  • Set customer satisfaction targets, KPIS and work with the team to consistently meet them
  • Drive continuous improvements through transport operations and act as a key contact for all stakeholders
  • Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports
  • Train, mentor, and manage the Customer Service & Operations Team
  • Supervise day-to-day operations in the customer service department

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Proven managerial experience in a Customer Service, Logistics, or Supply Chain environment
  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Experience in the food or logistics industry
  • Knowledge of logistics and import/export procedures

Technologies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
