Our client is looking for an organised, friendly and resilient PA with demonstrable experience to work closely alongside the Director of the business, to ensure seamless delivery of his day to day secretarial duties on a part-time basis.

Personal Assistant Responsibilities

This is a fantastic opportunity with a varying workload – no two days will be the same! Your role will involve, but will not be limited to:

  • Organising, filing and maintaining documents and files on Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Dropbox.
  • Communicating with clients contractors and team members on each project.
  • Producing, reformatting and editing documents on Microsoft Office packages.
  • Typing of reports, presentations, information memoranda, emails and correspondence.
  • Assisting with the Director's invoicing and preparation of expenses for submission.
  • Researching for prospective clients projects and needs.

Personal Assistant Experience

Our client is looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised, proactive and can prioritise yet juggle a variable workload,
  • A clear communicator and able to engage and communicate with clients and team members of all levels.
  • Excellent at typing up handwritten notes into formatted electronic documents and has proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Intuitive and able to pre-empt needs of others and can remain calm in an ever-changing environment.

Demonstrable experience of working as a PA previously is essential to the success of this role.

This is a part-time role working 3 days per week, Monday-Friday during the core hours of 9am - 5pm. There is flexibility to work around school drop off and pick ups should this be required so long as this is clearly communicated from the start.

Due to the nature of this being a small consultancy company that is predominantly project site based, you will be working from home, however you will be required to travel to the Directors office as a business needs on occasion.

Commitment to this role is key, as the current post holder is leaving soon, therefore they require someone to start as soon as possible.

There are 2 stages of interview:

  • An initial phone call with the Director.
  • A face to face competency skills based interview followed by a test on Excel and Word lasting approximately 1 hour.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment vetting checks and must have the right to work in the UK.
