A financial services client of ours is looking for a Finance Business Partner to work in the Cost and Investment department in London.
This is a hybrid role when the expectation is to work a minimum of two days in the office.
Key responsibilities which are required:
- Building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Producing detailed cost and headcount forecasts by working closely with the business translating their strategy into financial plans.
- Providing explanations for cost variances against plan through a detailed understanding of business and cost drivers.
- Supporting the Business to optimise operations and drive financial performance.
- Clearly presenting 'the story' to a range of stakeholders and contribute to high level Board packs.
- Reviewing and challenging the impact of investment programmes and understanding how the outcomes and benefits impact on business-as-usual activity.
- Drive continuous process improvement, supporting the delivery of more timely, impactful financial analysis.
Experience required:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Several years experience in a Cost Business Partnering role ideally from the FS Industry.
- Experience of developing meaningful relationships with a range of diverse stakeholders whilst providing independent review and challenge.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with proven experience of being able to produce and present complex financial information concisely.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- A strong team player, self-motivated, proactive and able to use own initiative to formulate own ideas and opinions.
- Experience in a fast-paced and agile environment with the ability to look for efficiencies and implement new processes as the business evolves.
