Job Title: Maintenance Management Technician

Location: Girvan, Ayrshire

Remuneration: £30,000 per year

Contract Details: Temporary To Permanent

Responsibilities:

Join our team as a Maintenance Management Technician and play a vital role in maintaining plant reliability and ensuring adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines. Under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, you will manage our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) and ensure that all operations are conducted with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Health & Safety:

  • Apply a strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to maintenance work.
  • Identify and mitigate potential hazards, and contribute to continuous improvements in safety practises.
  • Adhere to our organisation's Take 2 process for dynamic risk assessments for every task.

CMMS Management:

  • Access the CMMS system to execute and complete assigned maintenance jobs.
  • Sign off on completed tasks and report any issues or urgent concerns to the Maintenance Manager.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Engage effectively with colleagues and management on health and safety concerns and maintenance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Actively participate in enhancing maintenance processes and safety practises.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive improvements in plant reliability and operational efficiency.

Additional Duties:

  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Maintenance Manager, contributing to the overall success of the maintenance team.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety regulations and a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Experience with CMMS systems and a track record of efficiently managing maintenance tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
