The Senior Financial Accountant is a vital team member in the Accounting & Finance department of my client's company, responsible for managing financial tasks and contributing to financial decision-making. This role will require an individual with a strong understanding of technical accounting responsibilities.

My clients are a leading organisation in the Manufacturing industry, boasting a turnover of 400 million. The company has a global presence with operations in multiple continents and is renowned for its robust financial performance and commitment to employee development.

Description

  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
  • Contribute to the financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the management team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
  • Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary financial information.
  • Participate in strategic planning and budgeting activities.

Profile

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

  • Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Experience in a similar role within the Manifacturing industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Manufacturing industry experience (valuable but not needed)
