Trainee Document Controller

A Contractor is looking for a Trainee Document Controller to start with them.

This is a perm position based in Hampton.

Offering £30,000 - £40,000 salary!

Responsibilities:

  • Typing up letters and reports
  • Printing and photocopying
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Manage workflow of documentation on EDMS systems
  • QA manage all incoming and outgoing documentation and communication
  • Distribution of documents to relevant managers / project teams
  • Editing and amending documents for accuracy and compliance of client procedures
  • Creating reports and trackers on all communication of the project
  • Providing regular training on EDMS systems to internal and external staff
  • Drive and manage all documentation and the flow of information making sure
  • deadlines are met through the project EDMS
  • QA managing all documentation and communication
  • Attend site meetings
  • Preparing, organising and filing information in paper and digital form

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel / Word
  • The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail
  • Experience in the Construction Industry / working on-site would be a bonus!
